Live Genuine
"Shift the ask from Buy Genuine to Be Genuine."
If every manufacturer already says 'Buy Genuine', how does one of them actually change what a mechanic reaches for?
Every automobile brand tells customers to buy genuine, because genuine performs better on every parameter. But at the point of fitment, the mechanic sees no real difference between a Mahindra part and any other OEM part. He is moved by two things only: a value he can associate with, or a customer who insists.
The category had made 'Buy Genuine' a transaction line. To shift behaviour inside the workshop, genuineness had to stop being an instruction to the customer and become a value the mechanic could claim for himself.
Shift the communication from Buy Genuine to Be Genuine — expressed as Live Genuine. A brand platform that spoke to mechanics, dealers and distributors as people whose own integrity was the product.
Live Genuine was carried through films, on-ground rituals and workshop-facing collateral. Mechanics and channel partners were put at the centre of the story — the ones who Live Genuine — with the customer invited to demand the genuine part by name.
A category-defining platform that gave the workshop, not just the showroom, a reason to choose genuine — and a line the network could stand behind.
